A note on mounts: You don’t need to add a mount to your frame if you don’t wish, all art prints include a white border so can be displayed with or without an additional mount, however you prefer.
1. Your local framer.
A great option if you have a specific frame style in mind. Your local frame shop will be able to provide you with lots of frame styles, advice and should provide a professional finish to your art prints.
For original artwork I always say that your local framer is the best option as they can properly seal the frame to protect a painting.
2. A simple modern frame.
For a simple modern frame with an elegantly thin finish, I would recommend Neilsen Alpha frames.
These frames are beautifully crafted in aluminium with real wood veneer and glass. You can find them in all the standard ‘A’ sizes and I personally love the Wenge colour option* (as shown in the picture).
* These are the frames I use in my product images!
3. A natural oak frame.
For a more traditional natural wood finish, I would recommend these solid oak frames from Wall Space, again available in standard ‘A’ sizes.
4. A custom made frame.
If you want a fully customised frame then eFrame provide hundreds of options so you can find exactly the style you’re looking for, available with or without a mount.
Framing your art print with a mount.
All art prints include a white border so can be framed without a mount. However if you do wish to include a mount all you need is to purchase a slightly larger frame than the art print size and purchase a mount to fit.
You can order a custom-made mount over at eFrame in a range of colours (I personally go for off-white, but you can get quite creative!). Just specify the size of your frame and the size of your art print to get the perfect fit.
